Melanie Azcuna, Founder & CEO
Melanie is a proud Filipina immigrant and community advocate with nearly two decades of leadership in the financial industry. Her career includes key roles at Mission Federal Credit Union, Wells Fargo, and US Bank, where she championed inclusive service and meaningful community engagement.
She is also the founder of The House of Plants, a San Diego–based studio offering simply beautiful houseplants curated with intention and care.
A graduate of Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology and recipient of the Institute Leadership Award, Melanie continues to uplift Filipino‑American businesses and culture through her work.
She serves on nonprofit boards, leads community initiatives, and in 2025 was honored with Mission Fed’s Inclusion Advocate Award and a commendation from the City of National City for her impact through the Buy Filipino Network.
Rooted in heritage and driven by purpose, Melanie is committed to building spaces where Filipino stories, businesses, and talents thrive.
