Usap Tayo Club, founded by Maria Fontimayor, President of FILAMEDA, is a welcoming space where Filipino Americans and friends of the community can learn and practice Tagalog through meaningful conversation. Rooted in cultural pride and connection, the club offers weekly gatherings designed to build confidence, strengthen language skills, and celebrate the stories that make our heritage vibrant. Guided by Maria’s leadership and passion for community-building, Usap Tayo Club continues to uplift Filipino identity one conversation at a time.

Maria Fontemayor is the founder of Usap Tayo Club, a community platform created to nurture meaningful conversations, cultural connection, and shared Filipino identity. Guided by her belief that dialogue strengthens belonging, Maria built Usap Tayo Club as a welcoming circle where stories, experiences, and perspectives can be exchanged with care.
A proud Filipina and dedicated community advocate, Maria brings heart, intention, and cultural stewardship to every gathering she leads. Through Usap Tayo Club, she continues to uplift Filipino voices and foster environments where people feel seen, supported, and empowered.
