Born and raised in Hermosa, Bataan, Philippines, and proud of his Capampangan heritage, Celso Macaspac has lived a life defined by service, resilience, and a deep love for people and entertainment.

His early career began at the former Olongapo City General Hospital, where he worked as a Food Server and Nursing Aid. With a curiosity for technology, he pursued studies in TV and Radio Mechanics, Telegraphy, and Telephony, eventually becoming an Electronics Instructor in Olongapo City. His voice soon found its way to the airwaves as a radio announcer at DWHL and the former DZOR Radio Stations.

In 1976, he joined the U.S. Navy in Subic Bay as a Seaman Recruit, embarking on a distinguished military career. While in active service, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Management and a Master’s in Public Administration, reflecting his commitment to both education and leadership. Over the years, he served as a Hospital Corpsman and later as a Medical Service Corps Officer specializing in Healthcare Administration. After retiring in 2000 in San Diego, he continued serving veterans as a Military Veteran Disability Rating Specialist for two years.

Never one to slow down, he turned his lifelong passion for music and entertainment into a business. Since 2000, he has been the proud owner of Mabuhay Entertainment Productions, bringing joy to countless events as a mobile DJ. His hobbies—jogging, biking, basketball, playing guitar, and singing—mirror his energetic spirit and zest for life.

For him, entertainment is more than a profession; it is a calling. “For as long as people are still putting up with me; I can still carry my equipment; and I still enjoy it, I’ll keep on entertaining.”

Beyond music, his personal philosophy is rooted in gratitude and kindness: “Tell people NOW, and not when they are gone, how appreciative you are of the kindness in their hearts and the goodness in their deeds.”
